The First Impressions Ministry aims to create a welcoming, safe and caring environment for you and your family to experience the love of Jesus and His calling for your life. Whether it is your first time at The Church at Rocky Peak or you are a regular attendee, come and seek Jesus while the First Impressions volunteers serve, assist, greet and feed you! This is a wonderful ministry to consider if it is your first time serving at church. Join us as we create a sense of belonging for our guests during weekend services and special events.

First Impressions hosts want you to feel welcome and recognized the minute you arrive for weekend services. Hosts greet attendees with a smile, shuttle you to and from your car, walk new guests around campus or to a Kid’s Ministry classroom, and answer questions at the Starting Point. Our White Glove hosts keep the campus tidy and ready for guests that the Lord is bringing.

If you’ve ever entered a worship service a few minutes too late, you can appreciate a kind smile and dim flashlight to help you find available seating! Our ushers assist guests inside the Worship Center by walking guests to open chairs, handing out programs, passing the offering, answering guests’ questions or concerns, and providing a light clean up after each service. Ushers are glad to help you and create a comfortable area for you to worship freely!

Keeping our guests safe is a top priority. We want Rocky Peak to be a secure environment for you to grow and experience Jesus without hesitation or concern. Our safety team utilizes law enforcement officers and military personnel to direct traffic, monitor activity around campus, and prepare for every scenario so that guests feel comfortable and confident as they worship. In addition to keeping our campus safe, medical professionals are on standby in case of a medical emergency or injury.

Guests should feel at home with everything they need to enjoy their time with the Lord and other Christ followers. Our Cafe Team sets the tone with ambiance and delicious treats! They prepare coffee and donuts, offer cold waters and welcome attendees as they arrive.

The support team is a group of hosts, ushers, safety, and cafe teams who help support First Impressions events with their unique gifts. Just as our ministry teams aim to serve weekend guests, the support team is available to serve and assist the first impressions volunteers and leaders as they pursue the movement. This extra support comes through prayer, preparation and facilitation of events and meetings.
