When Jesus burst on the scene two thousand years ago, he called ordinary people like you and me to step out of the crowd and follow him as his disciples. And he promised those who would listen and follow he would lead them into a whole new life of freedom and fulfillment (along with persecution!) both in this life and the next.
But this raises the question: What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? What did it mean 2000 years ago when Jesus called his first disciples? What does it mean today? This is the question we will be exploring in this series.
During this series, all of our Life Groups will be doing a special message-based study, and you can find all the resources below. Each week’s study and assigned readings will be posted, as well as weekend message and message note sheets. If you don’t have access to a computer or printer, we will provide hard copies of the study and resources each week at Starting Point on the patio during our weekend services.
