Clothing Drive

The San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered homeless shelter that Rocky Peak has been partnering with since 2014. Their mission is to provide shelter and guidance for homeless families, helping them recover from the devastating effects of homelessness by meeting their basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter. Additionally, they aim to identify the underlying reasons for their homelessness and establish a plan to equip them to lead productive and independent lives.

This year, Rocky Peak is continuing our partnership with the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission through a Clothing Donation Drive. Our goal is to provide items that will be distributed to thrift stores and used to help fund their programs, which aim to provide on-the-job training for individuals who are transitioning from homelessness to independent living. We encourage you to look through your closets for gently used or new items you feel led to donate. Please leave them in bags behind your car, and they will be picked up during services this weekend. Join us as we support a ministry that is making a significant difference in our community!

If you are interested in volunteeringĀ to help with pick-up thisĀ weekend, email Bree Oberholtzer at boberholtzer@rockypeak.org.
