Throughout the year we will have projects for groups and individuals where we will join together and serve. At each of these locations, they also need ongoing help from individuals on a regular basis. Please read about these opportunities and explore whether God is calling you to serve on a regular basis. Saturday, May 20
Join us on May 20 from 8am-12pm as we spend a day at Safe Haven Homes, a center for women and children escaping domestic violence. Organize, sanitize toys, remove grass, assemble furniture, and help tear down and build a new storage shed.
Saturday, June 17
ZOE is an organization that has been working tirelessly to fight child trafficking in Thailand for the past 18 years. They have purchased property in Acton and Rocky Peak is partnering up with them to help get the property ready. Join us on June 17!
June 10, 8:30am-12pm
We serve individuals and families in need in the West Valley by providing food, clothing, medical and vocational training assistance, as well as referrals as needed. Our goal is to sustain people in desperate circumstances, empowering them to achieve personal and financial independence. Help clean the storage out-building, offices and assemble sandwiches!

Come and love your neighbor here in Los Angeles at our upcoming Reading Glass Clinic in MacArthur Park, Saturday, July 8, 8:00am-4:00pm. This is a great way to serve and show love in a practical way! Into Focus Vision will have a training opportunity at the Church at Rocky Peak on Sunday, June 11th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the Basecamp room. Come and learn how to help someone pick out a new pair of reading glasses and share the Gospel with them!
There are thousands of people just over the boarder living without a decent roof over their head. Churches are near and they want to help but they lack the resources. Join us as we partner with the church community in Ojos Negros to put on a VBS, feed the town lunch, paint and roof several houses and build two new ones. We have the opportunity to help them show the love of Christ to their community. The cost is $220 for adults, $180 for age 15 and younger. Families of 4 or more pay $620 total. This includes meals and transportation.

Hope Gardens Family Center
Hope Gardens Family Center is an oasis of hope on 71 acres in the foothills of Sylmar, California. This transitional housing campus offers sanctuary to single women and children who are experiencing homelessness. They help women transition from homelessness to independence within 12 to 36 months by offering long-term rehabilitation programs, services, and spiritual care.
San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission
This program has been designed to provide homeless men, women, children and families an opportunity to obtain food, shelter, and basic life necessities, as well as a foundation for restoration by developing a personalized plan based on each family's and individual's needs for achieving personal growth, employment, and housing.

Community Pregnancy Clinic
The Community Pregnancy Clinic (CPC) is a licensed medical clinic dedicated to helping women and families in unplanned pregnancies. We believe in empowering women through education and information to help her make the best decision for her physical, mental, and spiritual health. Our free services include ultrasound exams, pregnancy tests, STD/STI tests, post-abortion recovery, and sexual abuse recovery.
Only Hope Prison Ministries is focused on declaring the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ to the inmates of the Los Angeles County jail system.
PALS is a youth program that helps youth develop good character and strong, positive attitudes toward police ocers and the law through recreational and educational settings under the supervision and constructive inuence of dedicated law enforcement professionals. The goal is to bridge the gap between youth and their respect for the law and the ocers who enforce it.
ACTION was born out of a desire to network churches, agencies, and businesses together to collectively serve the needs throughout the community. It engages thousands of volunteers to serve on hundreds of projects which focus primarily on seniors, disabled residents, under resourced families, the homeless population, and at risk youth.
The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4 through adult to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide.
Kids’ lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God’s love with them. They begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.

GHR recognizes that young adults with special needs have the same fundamental needs as any typically developing young adult and works to promote personal and spiritual growth through work and job accomplishments. We strongly believe in partnering with our communities so that we may continue to create meaningful, purpose-driven opportunities that bridge the gap in all areas of life for our special needs community.
