Throughout the year we will have projects for groups and individuals where we will join together and serve. At each of these locations, they also need ongoing help from individuals on a regular basis. Please read about these opportunities and explore whether God is calling you to serve on a regular basis.   • Santa Susana State Park

    March 18, 2017

    The State Parks Department has asked us to help them with a project in The State Park Department has asked us to help out in Santa Susana State Park. We will be doing trail brushing and tread work on the El Camino Nuevo trail. This is the trail that is parallel to Santa Susana Pass road, from Iverson rd. to the top.

  • Simi Valley Little League Challenger Baseball

    April 8, 2017  |  9-11:30am

    The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4 through adult to enjoy the game of baseball. You will be assisting the Challenger players on the field, and encouraging the players to bat and make plays themselves. Contact Heather Burch at hburch@rockypeak.org.

Hope Gardens Family Center

Hope Gardens Family Center is an oasis of hope on 71 acres in the foothills of Sylmar, California. This transitional housing campus offers sanctuary to single women and children who are experiencing homelessness. They help women transition from homelessness to independence within 12 to 36 months by offering long-term rehabilitation programs, services, and spiritual care.

San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission

This program has been designed to provide homeless men, women, children and families an opportunity to obtain food, shelter, and basic life necessities, as well as a foundation for restoration by developing a personalized plan based on each family's and individual's needs for achieving personal growth, employment, and housing.

Prison Ministries

Only Hope Prison Ministries is focused on declaring the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ to the inmates of the Los Angeles County jail system.

PALS

PALS is a youth program that helps youth develop good character and strong, positive attitudes toward police ocers and the law through recreational and educational settings under the supervision and constructive inuence of dedicated law enforcement professionals. The goal is to bridge the gap between youth and their respect for the law and the ocers who enforce it.

ACTION

ACTION was born out of a desire to network churches, agencies, and businesses together to collectively serve the needs throughout the community. It engages thousands of volunteers to serve on hundreds of projects which focus primarily on seniors, disabled residents, under resourced families, the homeless population, and at risk youth.
