The Myers Briggs Type Indicator® assessment, knowledge of personality type and how it is used to make people more effective are used by many organizations, large and small throughout the world. "Since type provides a framework for understanding individual differences, and provides a dynamic model of individual development, it has found wide application in the many functions that compose an organization," Gordon Lawrence and Charles Martin, Building People, Building Programs.
The Five Love Languages test was developed by Gary Chapman, and suggests that to discover another person's love language, one must observe the way they express love to others, analyze what they complain about most often, and what they request from their significant other most often. He theorizes that people tend to naturally give love in the way that they prefer to receive love. By understanding your love language and the love language of the rest of the staff, you'll be able to effectively show them love in the workplace.
